Phony.
So, I’m almost done with the book, and Holden Caulfield seems to be making more and more sense: everything’s phony.
a friend is getting into some deep turd, and his situation reeks of phony. he claims his friends are awesome, but to me they seem idiots. he’s “enjoying” his youth, but i think he’s just trying to escape. it’s hard to tell though;...
